Howdy All!

I have called all the "soil and mulch" and "nurseries" in the Mercer County phone book and I am having a very hard time finding compost by the yard. I must of called about 20 places. :c( One place has what they call mushroom compost, but it smells like fresh manure. Another nursery does not sell compost, but has a huge pile of compost, some of which has been sitting for four year, that is made from plants, manure, chips, etc. He does not offer it to the public as he does not get calls for compost, but he is willing to sell me some. Some on another thread stated that that compost might be filled with diseased plants and that it may never have really got heated up, so he is stating that it may be filled with pathogens. Needless to say I am a little affraid of the stuff.

Does anyone know of a place in Mercer County that sells Compost?
