Who's ready for fall?

| I am! I have already started downsizing the summery containers on my balcony (my entire "garden" is my balcony), removed some of the spent impatiens (others are still going strong) and the hosta, which was looking sad.
When should I rip down the morning glory?
When would be a good time to remove ALL the summery stuff and put only mums out? I forget when I did this all last year. But I'm impatient! :) |

| Fall? What fall? Goodness, my chelone has just started blooming, the dicentra eximia is starting its second flush and the Montauk Daisies don't even have sizeable flower buds yet! Yes, I'm in denial :-) and will stay there until the snowdrops come up! Diane |

| I guess you could do it anytime you want, especially since it's after labor day. I'll have a few mums by next week only because it is a fund raiser at my children's school. |

| I'm never ready for fall or cold weather... I could live in a hot climate 365 and not complain at all. I'm also horrible about getting all of my house plants inside before a frost. Most ride out a frost to two before I become motivated enough to drag them in. |

| I hear that one but that greenhouse is going to help keep the plants out of the house a little longer. |
