I live in NJ - I was thinking of planting a row of arborvitae in September - just wondering if this was a good time of the year to do this - or when is the best time to plant arborvitae?

Bagworms are a problem for arborvitae, especially if you live south of I 195. Leland Cyprus is a good alternative.

Don't plant them if there is any chance that deer will have access to them.
