Pics of an interesting planting

This planting is at the county courthouse in Trenton and includes crape myrtle, 6 Trachycarpus fortunei(2 at front of bldg.), Sabal louisiana, S. minor S. sp. 'Birmingham', Musa basjoo, Miscanthus 'Cosmopolitan', Spiraea, Choisya ternata 'Sundance', Salvia guaranitica, Lantana camara 'Miss Huff', and Verbena canadensis 'Snowflurry'. Most of it was planted in March 2006.

Steve,
Who would've thought our state government would pay to plant such diverse beauties? Since you know it was planted in March 2006, do you know who we could email to thank for this and encourage more such interesting plantings?

Also, thanks for the beautiful photos and for identifying the plants!

The planting wasn't paid for by government. The plant swap this Sunday will include a side trip to see nearby plantings of maturing palms,crape myrtles, etc. on public property in Willingboro (see below).
