| I'm rather new to gardening - is there a way to protect plants over the winter, possibly using burlap? I tried a "Bauer's Dracaena" (Cordyline Baueri) knowing it was only rated to 20-30 degrees (I'm in central Jersey, zone 6), but it quickly became my favorite and the focal point of my backyard. Is there anything I can do to try to keep it year to year? |

| Dig it up and grow in the house or keep slightly damp in cold, but above-freezing location. |

| If I bring it inside, do I just water as normal or will it be in some sort of dormant winter mode and i need to do something different? I only have a shed which i imagine has to get below freezing, so I guess my only option is to try bringing it inside. |
