What's still blooming (late Nov.), 5 pics

There not the greatest shots by any means (with this blinding sun), but you get the idea ;)

Thunbergia, BES Vine.
The vine that was on the trellis has long since died off, but the runners along the ground are still blooming:

Part of the annual verbena, most of which has also died:

Nicotiana; foliage on all of mine still tall and green, but one still blooming:

Salvia farinacea; looking a little shot, but still purple (although this picture is HORRIBLE):

Asclepias curassavica; this normally continues to bloom way after frost for me. I just hope the few seedpods I do have will ripen:

Hi Traci

Very nice pictures, even tho the the blinding sunlight makes it difficult. It seems strange to have strong sunlight in the end of Movember, but I am not complaining!

My pineapple sage is still beautiful. I have a white rose also putting out blooms. Pretty much everything else has gone to sleep for the winter.

While on a dog walk I happended to find this wildflower in a new construction waste area. Silene latifolia I think. A gift at this time of the year. Also two of our camellias are blooming.

That is a pic of my snow flurry in a Z6B NJ area.

It grows well and flowers well.

Here is a link that might be useful: snow_flurry

My galliarda is getting a bit ratty, but still blooming. It's been flowering cheerfully since May!

Some kind of rose mallow put up a last little spire for me:

Fanny's aster, Heritage and Country Living roses, winter jasmine, Black and Blue Salvia, Sungold buddleia. All look pretty ratty but the roses make nice cut flowers.

Wintersweet, chimonanthus praecox, has joined in. Not "still" blooming but blooming eight weeks early.

Well, my spirea Ogon has a few blooms now and I see a little color on a witchhazel 'Diane'. I'm not worried about the witchhazel but I suppose I won't get much of a show from the spirea next spring. Even worse, for the last couple of weeks, I've noticed the buds on Hydrangea macrophylla unfolding.
