Ellen, once the Christmas holidays are over, and if you are up for a road trip, Barlows and Sickles usually keep plants in their greenhouses. Perhaps Atlock Farms in Somerset, I know someone who works there, I'll ask when I see her next week.

Dearborn Market, Rt. 35 in Holmdel also has houseplants in the winter. In mid-February they'll clean everything out for the annual Orchid Show, but the plants and all related items will be back as soon as that's over.

Interesting pots ... I'm trying to remember where I just saw an impressive selection. Again, the aforementioned nurseries should have them, but don't forget craft stores and places like Home Goods, Tuesday Morning, etc. Some of my best finds have been things I just stumbled upon while looking for something else.

A friend and I always make Atlock a stop on our Spring nursery trip. Love that place. Yes, pls ask your friend. That's not a bad drive from me.
I found a beautiful vase to put my in-water plants in at Unique which is a re-sale shop, for about 2-3$. I love it. It's like a half shell and is a peach color.
