| This message is for anyone interested in a little public garden involvement in Burlington County. Last spring a few of us began planting hummingbird gardens and butterfly gardens at the center. Next year we plan to do more and are looking for some new friends and new ideas and new helpers. We will be getting together for an informal meeting at the center at 7PM on January 8th to discuss the future. If you are thinking about coming contact me by email or contact Pam Reid at the center. What a nice idea! You are too far from me (Middlesex County) to get involved, but I wonder if anyone in your group would be interested in one or two butterfly bushes that I could give you if you came here and dug it up. One is small about two feet high, the other is about 3-4 feet high. The former is an unusual blue-teal color, the second is purple. I have nowhere to put them, they are currently in a vacant lot at the Community Garden where I garden, but if someone takes this plot, then I'm afraid they may be history. ellen PS - if interested, pls e-mail me off list, in case I forget to check back here. |

| thanks for the offer, I'll try to keep it in mind if someone comes down from your area. Down here along the river they have escape into the wild which is a bit of concern, but they sure are good in bringing in the butterflies. |
