Heat resistant indoor plants

I'd like to place some indoor plants on the floor where baseboard heat is emitted. Are there particular plants that will tolerate being near a heat source? My home is situated so that there is not much direct sunlight indoors so these would have to be "shade" plants also.

A sansevieria trifasciata (snake plant or mother in laws tongue)would be a good choice. They are tall enough for a floor plant, dont seem to mind a little extra heat, and are great for lower light situations
