Does anyone know if uvularia grandiflora, disporum flavum or disporum maculatum are eaten by deer or rabbits? If they like it we cannot grow it where we live. Thanks!

RE: Deer and Rabbits

We have a lot of deer in our area. I also have two large uvularia grandiflora plants. I have never seen any signs of deer munching on them. I haven't had any rabbit problem in the last few years, because we have foxes and coyotes around so am not sure about them eating the plants.

The only good rabbit, is the one in my stew pot.

I have had a LOT of damage done to my plants by the rabbits in the area. We live next to a woodlot, and there is a warren of rabbits just below us. Needless to say, my plants take a major "nibbling" here until the spring when they can get their food elsewhere. Mind you, last year I did see a rabbit chewing ALL the flowers off my neighbour's geranium plants.
