need zone info for Idaho

am just in the process of looking to relocate to the northern Idaho area and am trying to get info regarding the different zones within the region. I'm wondering what the big differences are besides elevation between say Lewiston and Moscow. How much colder is Moscow than Lewiston? I can't seem to find any difference between the zones they both look like zone 6 on the maps. Also, does anyone know where I can find out how many growing days (or frost free days) in Moscow? Lewiston supposedly has 220 growing days if I can believe that. What would it be in Moscow or Pullman?
Can you grow fruit trees well in this area? Nut trees?

Thanks for any help you can all give me so I can make up my mind where I want to concentrate my relocation efforts. I plan to make my move this spring/summer from SW Montana.
