Aphids

My wife heard of a new insecticide that when sprayed on shrubs before they bud out will control or eliminate the Aphids for the growing season. Unfortunately she did not catch the name. Anyone happen to know of a good product?
We live in Central Saskatchewan and have a severe Aphid problem on our Burning Bushes every year. |

Hi The spray I athink you are referring to is Dormant Spray. You will have to have a spray container and then mix the two bottles of dormant spary together and spray the bushes. This must be done before the leave come out. |

| try spraying with a mixture of dish soap and water..about 1 tbsp to a gallon and you can purchase ladybugs at your local nursery. they work really well and will control the problem for years. try not to spray and lot of chemicals in your yard...if affects your insect and bird populations....sometime not in a good way |
