my sumac

If I run prunings from my sumac through my shredder, will each and every piece grow a new tree? Obviously, not what I want.

Hah, not likely. Now if there are seed heads on the ends of the branches maybe from seed but I think the only trees/shrubs that would be likely to grow from shredded clippings are willows and possibly sycamore. But even then the pieces will probably be too small.
