Forced BLOOMS - speeding up?

I'm in 3b (I think?)/. Is it possible to force blooms (very effectively for display, at the very least) of anything spring flowering eg. lilac, plums, apples etc. in the spring months. Please add to the list..... Soooooo, any pruning bits and pieces from established plants(bushes/trees) might create an effective display elsewhere? I've heard there is a solution that speeds up to glorify your home / yard display.
Awaiting your import....
Thanx
