Has anyone had success in growing this shrub in the northern climate and having it produce some berries?

Yes I have 3 Sambucus nigra growning in our Zone 4 area and this year i am planting 4 more. I had loads of berries last year. The year before was the same but the bear beat me to them..he broke braches down to get all the berries..
