help for eagle scout/shrub design ideas

| I have been approached by a scout wanting my help to start his eagle project which is updating the shrubs around his church property. Shrubs are not my expertise. Is there anyplace on the web that would help him get some ideas that are simple? We are northern Illinois Zone 4-5. |
