| I've been intrigued by a shrub I've seen on numerous lawns in my area. It looks like a wiegela but it blooms at the same time as forsythia and cherry trees. It has light pink flowers and they seem to grow on the old wood. I have yet to knock on someone's door and ask what it is.....does anyone have any names to throw at me so I can look it up?

| THX-Could it be a Daphne? Around here in Nova Scotia they have been blooming for a few weeks. Beautiful pink flower, no leaves until after flowering. Hope this helps. |

| Maybe it's a Kolkwitzia (Beauty Bush). |
