What can be grown in zone 1 and the South pole ? Lingon berries are the Northern most harvested commercial crop. They grow in zone 2 . Does any food grow further North ? where can I get some ? I seek crops that can survive in extream areas! Thank You !

... and the SOUTH pole ?

I see that you have been a member since 2004. Where are you located? That might help? Different things grow in different areas of the far north. They are growing amazing products in Alaska, but we have no idea where you are located.

I also answered your similar question about Antarctica earlier - not sure if you noticed that.

Saskatoon (service) berries and blueberries grow in zones 1 and 0 in northern parts of Canada.

I'm not sure what you are trying to find out here. What State or Province do you live in?
