| Hi everyone,
I am new here - and hope that you will be kind and patient enough to bear with my very, very basic questions... Like this one: Is May 28 still a good time to plant a 6-foot lilac tree in my backyard? I live in Montreal (on the island). Hope to hear from you soon - as I am planning to buy my lilac tree tomorrow morning!! Bye for now, Mauve |

| Hi Mauve. I think it would be just fine, but I see you posted a few weeks ago, so it's probably in the ground by now. I'm in the Michigan U.P. on the Keweenaw peninsula, and I bought one last week that I haven't got in the ground yet, but plan to do so very soon. I don't think it's too late at all! |
