There was something like a mouse in my greenhouse today. It was brown and had white around the neck. Was it really a mouse? I never saw one that color before.

Did it eat any of your seedlings? My friend was just telling me that a mouse or mice ate all her lettuce seedlings.

Mice can be different colours so maybe. Or if it was dark brown, with a white bib, and bigger than a regular mouse with a long body, could be a weasel. Lots of people have weasels around and don't know it because they're so sneaky.

Just a word of warning: Deer mouse droppings can carry toxoplasmosis. Be very carful about sweeping them up in the greenhouse. Do some research about it on the internet.
