Garlic

I seem to have a total failure of my Garlic crop this year - are there others in the Alberta region with similar problems. Planted as usual in 2nd week of May and with usual technique. We always have a great crop and have enough to give away

This was new Red/Purple garlic from a hardware chain locally

RE: Garlic

Could it be too much water? Dig one up and see. What about the cloves? Were they firm and healthy?

I've read that garlic yields best when planted in fall.
