| I have been trying for a few years to get these in my garden. This year I saw one on my chives. It seemed to prefer that plant because that was the only plant I ever saw it on. This morning I went out to deadhead my lovage, it was now about 5' tall and coverd with seed heads, and I found several swallowtail butterfly larvae on the stems. I left them to eat away. I usually see a lot of monarchs around but not to many this year. Marg |
