Currants

| Two years ago a friend let me come and dig up 3 currant suckers - I thought for sure this year I would have some berries as I saw blooms. But checking it out last night there isn't a berry to be had. The fourth currant that I bought from the greenhouse last fall has 3 berries on it. Are these three volunteers that I dug out not going to produce?? |
