Fall Clean Up

Hi I have lots of big perennial beds. I am finding it a huge task cutting them all back and cleaning up in the fall. Anyone have any time saving methods to lighten the work at this time of year. Thanks.

Brian

I tend to leave most work for Spring, when I'm itching to get back outside after a long winter.

I agree...Some some incorporates itself into the soil over the winter, so if you can resist the tidying up, wait till spring. Also some plants "mulch" themselves with the done foliage in the winter. Another good reason to wait.
