Hi, I live just north of winnipeg, MB. My issue is all my fur trees are turning reddish brown, the are only a few years old, some are even from last year. they are browning from the inside first. alot have died already. What can I do to keep my remaaining ones. I have tried to spray with a copper spray but with no success.

RE: fur trees going brown.

Kerry,

Sorry to hear about your fir trees. I'm not sure if they have a terminal disease or not.

Have you tried the Far North Forum with your query? There are many knowledgeable gardeners from Manitoba and Western Canada there who can probably help you.

Good luck, hope everything works out for you.
