 o
euonymus up a maple

I have a small group of plants around a very tall maple. One of them is a small leaf, dark green, creeping kind of euonymus. I have noticed that this year it started growing up the tree trunk, like an ivy, and I wonder if this may become a problem for the tree. It looks wonderful though!
I would like to leave it if I can be sure it does not pose any health problems for the tree.

Yes, it will be a health pronlem for the tree. Do not allow it to grow up the trunk.
