Trouble with towering aspens

Hello

We are noticing that some of our aspens are weeping. In all the cases, it looks like this picture but in other cases it also occurs around knots and collars. We are not noticing any sawdust or any obvious signs of bug/webs. It is a clear-greenish colour.

Has anyone encountered this or know what it might be?

I also have 2 other pictures but I'm not sure how to post them.

Can't speak to the gravity defying first photo. In the second, the union between the main stem and the branch is way too tight. That WILL break off in the not too distance future....you might want to remove the branch now before it gets any bigger.
