I don't know who could have gotten them but I have had major bird problems in my blue berries in previous years. This year they have left them alone due to hanging a plastic owl in the middle of the bushes and laying rubber snakes on top of several bushes. They would get thru the netting before but this year I just laid the netting on top to support the rubber snakes and they haven't bothered the berries at all. Now if I could just get the squirrels to leave my peaches alone....

I never thought of birds, I should have added, it starts getting chewed up in the blossom stage. The damage seems to be heavier at the bottom. I was thinking insects, possibly I am wrong.
