Need A Garden Buddy in Northern Ontario... August

Hi everyone *waving*
Hope u are all enjoying the summer. My lilies have been blooming for over a month now and new ones have started as the old ones end. Also the daylilies are now blooming.

Lots of birds at our feeders, I think they told all their friends and relatives we had food! *S* They have been picking my raspberries clean before I can get to them too.

Hostas have gotten eaten by slugs more this summer cause it was so wet for a few weeks, even though I have been using slug bait. I can just imagine what they would look like if I didn't use the bait.

Here are some pics of my gardens I have put in frames. That is PsP and it has been keeping me busy too. *S*

Take care
Debbie :-)
PS: Tiffany is the name I use in chat rooms where I post my pic, if your wondering why I have Tiffany on my phots. *S*

HI Debbie,

Looks like everyone is busy in the their gardens. I stopped to take a look at what was happening and saw your pictures, they are fantastic, do you have them hanging in your home, you could do a show. All my beds seem to be going to seed, I keep on dead heading, trying for a little longer, the hosta I planted a few years back are making quite the show. I plan on making a new bed just for them and some daylilies, but right now we are completely remodeling our home so we will see what time I have.
Love your photo's.

Janet

Hi there,
Janet, nice to see you. Thanks re: flower pics. No, I don't have them hanging in my home, they are just some frames I used that I made using paint shop pro.

Son came over today and he helped me do some weeding. My back has been so bad this summer that I haven't been able to do much, which is very very frustrating! My hostas have really been getting eaten this year compared to other years, I guess it was from all the rain so the slug population just exploded.

I am going to Kentucky in a couple of weeks for a chat party bash. I am looking forward to it as we will be camping along the way and not taking the main hwys either, so I am hoping to be able to see a lot of sights. We are going with another couple that I met in a garden chat room, so it should be very interesting. We will be gone for a few weeks and I'm hoping I will get a lot of nice pictures of the fall colours. *S*

Take care
Debbie :-)
