| Does anyone know where I can get vermiculite or perlite by the big bag. I use a lot of it for hypertufa and I can only get the small bag at Walmart. Are there nurseries in Northern Ontario that sell it.
Thank you Claire |

| I went to buy vermiculite, I think it was 2 years ago. I was told it might be the last year that it would be for sale, since most of it came from a mine in Montana that had also been found to have asbestos (a known carcinogen). Maybe Perlite will be your best bet? |

| Try your local building supply, its used for insulation, and will save you a bundle of money. Rai |

| I would recommed that anyone who might have vermiculite on hand contact the EPA. I live in Libby, Montana, where this was mined and it has been responsible for many deaths. Check this out: http://www.epa.gov/region8/superfund/libby/ |
