I have a small five year old yellow magnolia that I bought about three years ago and put it in a temporary trial garden.
I have been hoping my son would come by and move it in to the place I wish it to be permanently

Live in Barrie Ontario and have not had frost yet but could be any day

It is doing very well in its temporary position the leaves right now are glossy and healthy just lovely
Is going to be a set back moving it at any time but is it to late now. That is if the young man does come by in the next few days.

I can water it well once moved but just a little concerned that the time is not right

I know fall planting normally is the best time and I bought this young tree when it was marked down 75%. So proud that it is looking so terrific.
