transplanted native hemlocks

| I recently transplanted several 2'-5' native hemlocks and they seem to be doing well. Is there anything that I can give them in the spring that will help them grow full and tall?
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Mulch and water are the first two things that come to mind. We always transplant native hemlocks as soon as the ground thaws in spring. We've been doing this for decades in NH with good success. Not sure about this late in the year. But I'm Z4. |

| Hi Franeli, I was just wondering what kind of mulch and how much you are using. Do you fertilize you trees at all? |
