I have a :NAKED LADY; how do I keep it over the winter, could I plant it on the south side of the house? or do I have to keep it inside.

I think they're zone 7 or something like that. I'd dig up the bulb for the winter and store it as you would dahlias or glads.

From reading other postings on these forums, I think they are more like zone 5-ish.
Mapleleaf, why don't you do searches on the "Bulbs" and "Perennials" forums, and on the FAQ's on each of those forums - there have been lots of previous postings on these bulbs.

You're right, Lori, they're zone 5-10 - i looked it up. On thinking about it, probably the reason i thought zone 7 was because someone from zone 7 had offered to send me some once. She never did, though! Rats! :)

If you have Lycoris squamigera, it is hardy in zone 4. All others are less cold hardy.

I looked it up as you suggested, I think it`s a Guernsey Lily also a member of the nerine family, all your help is much appreciated, keep the help coming I`m new at this!
