I hit all the plant places in Fallon and Fernley and then hit the big box stores in South(?) Reno, and found only one Sempervium tectorum. Does anyone know of a nursery in Reno or Sparks that has Sempervium tectorum?

What an interesting exercise in looking for 'Hens & Chicks'. It would have helped if you had spelled it right. I found mine at Flower Tree Nursery, Fallon, last year.

Try Dry Creek Nursery in Reno on South Virginia (by Target?) They should have them. Funny the ones i have i got while i was on the California coast. i thought no way these will survive our winters but i have more than i know what to do with. I love when plants spread fast. There are also places on the internet to order them. these are what i have. I have never ordered from these guys though so i dunno about their stock. http://www.santarosagardens.com/Sempervivum-Hardy-Mix-p/sem-har.htm

I would recommend Dry Creek Nursery. It's just a little bit South of Target on South Virginia Street at the light across from a car dealership. I think I saw some Sempervivums there. If you want named varieties, you can try http://www.squawmountaingardens.com/. They are in Oregon.

Belated update. Dry Creek had some. I bought a couple a couple of months ago.
