Hardy Opuntia Cactus Cuttings

If anyone in N. Nevada around Carson City/Gardnerville would like some free cactus cuttings, please let me know.

Mine are growing like crazy and have outgrown their alloted spot and I have to do some heavy pruning. DH and the neighbors are complaining. Apparently they don't know how to give cactus with heavy-duty spines the appropriate personal space.

Count me in if you have something that I don't have. I have about 10 species and would be interested in expanding.

Or if I have something you don't have - I ended up burning quite a few lbs this spring as well.

I saw last week an opuntia down by Washoe Lake I had not seen before - going to have to talk to the owner about a pad or two.

I forgot. I found the best thing for handling cacti (when repotting, planting or trimming) is a pair of ordinary kitchen tongs--the scissor-handled jobs. I got two pairs for a dollar at Dollar Tree a couple of years ago.
