Does anybody know if there are any plant swaps or ANYTHING during the year here in N. Nevada? I live in the Reno area, and am new to gardening but I would love to go if there is! I just can't find any info for any.

I have some stuff available now if you are interested. Otherwise it will go to the compost pile.
Hard neck garlic’s
Perennial onions
Chives
Some perennial flowers

Later after it gets cold I have choke cherry and golden currents.
I dont need anything in return now.

I don't know about swaps, the Master Gardeners have their plant sale (more of a feeding frenzy) in early May. They also have an educational lecture series in February-March, the program from last year can be found here: http://www.unce.unr.edu/western new/events/2006 Gardening in N evada flyer.pdf

I'd recommend calling up or stopping by the Extension office and talking to the people at the horticluture desk. You can check out their website here http://www.unce.unr.edu/mastergardener/mastergardener.html but it takes some looking around to find stuff.

The Arboretum at Rancho San Rafel park also has classes. Look here: http://www.maycenter.com/
