| (Hmm, sorry if this post re-appears in a slightly different form. I thought I had posted on this topic already) I was in town this weekend visiting parents who live near Star Nursery in North Las Vegas. What a wild hailstorm and rain in Henderson and the Strip. It was nowhere as intense in North Vegas. Mt. Charleston was beautiful. But Beca, you're probably right. In most places, the first snow signals the definite end of summer. It's funny how people in So. CAL think Las Vegas is near 100 degrees most of the year. Of course, they're the same ones who think they'll hit that casino jackpot someday - even if it means spending their life savings! |

| The weather can be so different in Las Vegas (and Pahrump-where I'm at)...but it makes it fun sometimes. You never know what will happen next. LOL. Yep, you are soo right about some people in So. Cal and their thoughts about the weather out here. I have friends who asked me if it was still hot in the middle of winter. I replied it was freezing cold. "Oohhhh" is the usual answer. No clue. Scary. I was surprised to see a little bit of snow today..it is so very beautiful. B~ |
