Hello all, Seeking any native plant knoledge!

Setting in after 6 months and ready to think about tackling the astroturf and uninspired garden I've inherited. An exciting project!

I've scouted out Star Nurseries and Plant World and have found all the usual suspects.

I visited Red Rock and saw interesting native plants that I'd like to grow in my yard. Now to find the seeds or the source - any tips? Been looking on Native Plants site of Nevada - perhaps someone on here does native plants and can point me in the right direction.

If you haven't done so yet, you should take a trip over to Springs Preserve to see the native plantings. They do have a plant sale of these natives. Star is a good source for native plants also. Plant World has been bought out by Moon Nurseries so not sure if they will carry natives for purchase.

Thank you! I'm So excited to go to the native plant sale at Springs Preserve on Saturday!! :) Also with spring I've seen a few suitable plants at Lowe's and Home Depot.
