Tomatoes, anyone?????

Well it was another year of picking tomatoes off the vines before winter arrives this week. Most are still green but as usual I have TONS of them. Romas, Early Girls and the Yellow Pear Grape tomatoes. They will turn red/yellow (pear grapes) on their own time...neighbors and family will love them. Last year we had home grown tomatoes til February.
If any of you would like some tomatoes...give me a holler! I have plenty to share. I'm in Pahrump.

Beca,

Once again I'm jealous. Our summer crop fizzled in the heat and the fall crop was just getting going when it started getting cold. Put the greenhouse over the plants but after all the frost on the ground this morning I'm kind of afraid to go out and look at the damage.

If we were in Pahrump we'd be knocking at your door for those tomatoes. My usual mantra, next year will be different!

Maria

LOL Maria!!! Next year I am not planting any tomatoes or basil. I am going to see what or should I say "how many" volunteers I will have in my raised beds. Still have tons of tomaotes...told my neighbor we're bring the wheel barrel full of them for him to pick out when they turn red (or yellow). He makes a good salsa. If we lived closer I'd bring you some....

Becky
