| I've been digging out my old garden boxes in my SW Reno back yard , and I'm making mounds out front with the good soil. Now, is it too late to tuck some bulbs in these so they don't just look like dirt piles in the spring? It will be the first time I could plant bulbs without use of a pick-axe, so maybe you can understand my interest.... :-D |

| It might work--or not. I haven't ever put bulbs in mounds, so I don't know how they would withstand the rest of the winter. However, they do fine in sheltered areas in planters, so--if the mounds are high enough, they might be okay. |
