The screened fir bark at the top is what I am looking for. Does anyone know where in the vancouver/portland area I can find this? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ~ Bo

What about cedar play chips? I'd rather have those anyway, they are great.

Don't know about using those for orchids, maybe that is what you want to do.

bboy ~ thanks. But I don't need it for orchids. It's the missing ingredient for Al's soiless gritty mix.

Same outcome, the cedar probably would not be suitable for a potting medium.

Lists both medium and fine fir bark on the above webpage.
They are on SE Foster in the 60's.

I use their cedar chips a lot.
