It was great! Lots of flowers. Chickens and goats, pillars and water, bonsai pines. Something for everyone.

I've been waiting for reports on the show, it didn't work out for me to make the trip much as I would like to have gone and supported what we almost lost. Did it seem well attended to you?

No. Wed. 4-8PM was lightly attended. Could get around without people bumping into us and blocking our views, but if significantly reduced attendance causes the show to end then the freedom from a mob we enjoyed that night was a hollow victory.

I've never been on the weekdays, but hubby and I went for a half-day today (Saturday). There was a long enough line for the tickets, and I ran into enough people by accident. So maybe just the weekday attendance was down?

I was there Friday and Saturday and it seemed well attended to me as well. I always enjoy the show and the camaraderie of fellow plant and garden enthusiasts! Also spent too much doing my part to help stimulate the economy. LOL

During normal peak attendance in past years you could hardly move around in front of display gardens. Forget about seeing everything at the front, below head height. If it was like that this time, then it was per usual.

We were there Friday afternoon and it was very busy, especially around the display gardens. Several vendors told me that they were very pleased with the crowds thus far in the show.

I attended on Thursday, was there most of the middle of the day and it was just busy enough :-) The display garden floor was full but not so crowded you couldn't get to and see the gardens and the Plant Mart and other retail areas were jumping. Hard to find a place to sit down for a bite to eat or cup of coffee. The new butterfly garden was pitiful and the container display pretty uninspired but otherwise I enjoyed myself as usual. Always seem to run into a number of folks I seldom see except at events like this. This year I was suckered into the orchids ;-) It's always something!!
