Numb Brains Syndrome? I have driven to San Francisco for 10+ hours with 2 15 minute stops for gas, food, etc, and I do simple stretching periodically in my seat, snack, and drink lots of water. Surely they stop between films so people will buy food and drinks?

Thought I'd report back:

Saw four movies on Saturday, beginning at 1:45 and ending at midnight. I had envisioned being trapped in a dark room for hours and hours and thought for sure my butt would grow numb (Hemnancy, you were so close!), but the event organizers did a great job. There was 20 minutes or so between each movie and even an hour break around 6:00, during which it was possible to walk over to one of several nearby mall-type restuarants and have a meal. It was so much fun, we're doing it again this Saturday, and will have seen all 10 best picture nominees prior to the Oscars!

Sounds like fun! We saw Avitar a couple of days ago and enjoyed it. We're a little old for such a movie but the plants growing on Pandora were quite interesting.

No, no, you are never too old to enjoy a good movie! The flora in the film was superb and I loved those jellyfish/butterfly creatures.
