Time to sow seeds indoors!!!???

Hi,

I am in Seattle region, and it is 5 inches of snow outside.

Is it time yet to start seedlings indoors for tomatoes?

It is time when you count back 6-8 weeks (depending on what the seed packet says) from last frost date in your area.

sal-wa, i usually start tomatoes indoors end of February but i have greenhouse (unheated) and keep them in gallon pots there until weather permits to plant outside. They are usually starting to flower by this time.
