Nasty grass, new to me

In the last couple of years I've noticed a (new to me) grass growing in my veggie garden. It has long tendrils that reach up 2 feet or so through other plants. It has joints along these tendrils that break off quite easily and there are new grass plants growing at each joint. Any idea what it is?

I have it here also. A fork or Roundup works for me. Never a shovel or a tiller!

Maybe couch grass. Otherwise, if it is wiry and hard to pull up it might be quack grass. This is right in there with sheep's sorrel, horsetail and moring glory.

Sorry, I haven't been able to get pictures yet. I don't think it is quack grass. It is easy to pull out and doesn't seem to have the rhizomes to spread, It is segmented with a new plant growing at each segment. I'll try and get pics tomorrow. I appreciate the postings helping me identify it.

Bermuda grass, perhaps? You can do a Google image search.
