time to move this down the list

I have a west-facing patio that was useless in the summer also. I looked at awning options and never found anything to my liking. I had a pergola built instead and attached cheapo bamboo blinds to it. I have some vines planted, but they need to grow a few more years for additional shade.

Just the bamboo blinds make a huge difference. Unfortunately, of course, it doesn't stop rain. Susan
