Hi,

Is it too late in the season to start Poppy from seed? I will be direct sowing outdoors. The ones I sprinkled outdoors in late Feb have either all been eaten by slugs or have not sprouted and I started a batch indoors but made the mistake of leaving them in direct sunlight under the plastic dome of the greenhouse; they all fried. I was wondering if I should even make the attempt to start another batch or if I should give up for the year. Thanks!
