| Last month a teenage driver took out the wing wall on my porch steps. A brick mason came and fixed the brick and the stucco. There was a good sized rhody there. I took it out so the mason could work. I'm concerned about putting it back because of the alkali leaching from the new brickwork. What do you all suggest? |

| Planting it somewhere else, rather than trying to change the soil chemistry - and keep it changed. You may not have to go very far out from the wall to be safe. |
