An old mahonia aquifolium had to be dug up yesterday. I covered the root ball with a bag and am keeping it damp and out of the sun. The leaves do not seem to be wilting yet.

Does anyone know how these plants will take a move? This one is about 10 years old and has been about 10 feet tall. It was cut back last year to about 4 feet to facilitate a new deck being built.

I would happily save this plant if I am able. I know that they are pretty tough plants.
