Is south facing Seattle store room a potential tomato hot house?

I have a partitioned-off room at the back of my garage with a good sized south facing window. The gas water heater also happens to be located right in the room, which could be made toastier with some simple winterization.

My little brain is thinking tomato grow room. I was already planning to move a late start container-planted tomato in there to finish ripening this Fall: why not take it one step further and set it up as an indoor hot house? The room already gets what natural light there is, and I could boost the humidity by setting buckets of water on the floor. With timed grow lights to compensate for Seattle's limited winter sunlight, could tomato plants be persuaded to produce out of season?
